Why would casey have told anyone where to find the body?

I don't think she did want Caylee to be found just from her reported reaction in jail when they did. I remember NG saying how different KC's reaction was concerning a so called discovery at BP and then when Caylee was truly found close to home. I think she needed a sedative the last time the first, nothing.

I also think she knows someone very close to her betrayed her in her opinion.

Maybe that person was really trying to find Caylee all along using info KC was supplying out of trust.

Yes, I brought this up in another thread. I think Casey Code thread. IMO, when she dumped the body there, she wanted her to be discovered. After consulting with her lawyers, she changed her tune. OMG, it is highly likely that the body will be found. JB believes no body=no conviction. Now she has to back peddle because she put her in an obvious spot "familiar to the family" per her conversation with Lee. Now she knows if would not be good to find the body. There is too much evidence already.

I don't think she did. I think somebody did some good thinking and figured out the most likely places to look. And they found her.

It was posted on another thread how KC said Det. H Wells is the only one she would talk to, he is the one Kio showed the "hang out spot" to....Was this a clue??

I think if she did set it up to look like a kidnapping, and it was looking so bad to the defense, she thought finding it with the duct tape would make the kidnapping look better.

I was thinking that to at first, but then I thought to myself that the body was so decomposed, how could they wrap duct tape around the mouth and the skull? Forensics will be able to tell how long the tape was on Caylee and the finger prints would most likely show. I do recall early on they said the tape came from a friends house, but they never mentioned anything else about it. Just so confusing. I also asked early on about TES. When the remains were found I had asked about the area and if Tim did search with his Infra Ray Plane, Sonar and on foot the body would of been found "IMO" if it was in that location at the time, now he also had thousands of volunteers searching, one did come out and say she searched the area and had pictures, but she was a fruit cake. I am more interested in who searched, the dates, and if he used the "Plane" in this area. I know TES keeps records of all the searches, so maybe this will give up some answers as to how long the body was in that exact location. I see the defense team going for the "Somebody else did it, see they dumped the body there after" or something along those lines.

Bless your heart. Unfortunately, I don't think KC ever had one. So hard for those of us with love and compassion to imagine such a cold, cruel person.

I also agree KC (much like Scott Peterson ) does not follow normal thought process because they feel they can lie their way outta anything because they have been going that all their life.
The other thing is I do not think KC realized how much media would be involved.Look at her face when Mom shows the shirts and talks about People mag and everyone getting the word out nationally! is that a face of happiness ? or kinda oh sh**!
I think she thought the body would be found, people would say she was such a terrific mother she would never harm Caylee so it had to be Zanni.
I dont think she thought in the beginning anyone would doubt her story at all or that soooo much media coverage would be focused on Caylee

I think dom was either told by baez or the A's where the body was.

He decided he wanted part of the cash cow so thhought he would take pics of the body and sell them. Looking for the body was like looking for a needle in a haystack so he told hoover about his get rich quick scheme and then the 2 of them looked but still couldnt find it.

I dont know what the connection is yet with meterman but when LE started giving meterman the 3rd degree, I think hoover got nervous and spilled the beans.

This is way out there, but another poster sparked the idea. Remember when KC was with her mother was driving her somewhere off the beaten path. Where were they, anybody know? Perhaps KC had promised to show her mother where Caylee was hidden before going back to jail. That would explain CA's over-to-top angry reaction to the news crew following them, if they had interrupted such an important mission.

Wow....lol You got the first one right....but all the rest I think you are concluding, I watched NG last night and LP said the first one. Unless you have the link cause I could be wrong, I was feeding a baby, making dinner, helping daughter with homework and listening to hubby tell me about his day all at the same time....lol I could have heard wrong.

IDK if this has been mentioned since I don't have time to read ALL the posts here but... does anyone think it's possible the MR might have seen KC dump the body one day during his route? He might have seen her and really not thought much of it, maybe it was when her car was parked by the woods and she was walking out of the woods then when word got out Caylee was missing, maybe he recalled maybe seeing KC there and did "his own investigation" by looking and calling LE back in August? That might have been when it dawned on him that he saw something back in June while working one day. IDK, just a thought.

I don't think KC told someone in jail... knowing she's a sociopath, it's not likely she told anyone but maybe JB in some twisted sort of way. Remember the letter that leaked from his office saying something to the effect of "what if my client's daughter died accidentally?" That might have been related to KC's twisted "confession".

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING CASE EVER. Personally, I would be afraid if you DID have anything straight about it. I really do enjoy how new news each day changes or at least alters what we thought we already "knew". I'm just glad I've been following from the beginning, (otherwise I might be one of those NG callers asking about who Caylee's dad is).

If she confessed to her attorney, and they are planning to use the 'accident' story, when was it that Baez first said that 'if Caylee is dead then it was an accident' or something to that effect? Could it have been around the time she spilled the beans on where the body was, if she did do that?
