my frist thought was it was the homeowner, but then isn't ID yet? not sure then.

they belong to 61-year-old Brion Downle who lived at the residence

The only surprising thing about that is how long it took to complete identification, perhaps they couldn't find good dentals for him. But apparently there are actually two sets of remains -
Sheriff officials said another set of remains have yet to be identified. Additional DNA tests are being conducted.
 
Victim of Ixonia fire identified
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Dept. Paul Wallace said Friday that the second set of remains has been identified through DNA testing as 52-year-old Charles E. Lawrence.


The first set of remains previously had been identified as 61-year-old Brion Downie.

Both Downie and Lawrence resided in a home on the property.
