She is out of the hospital and speaking to authorities. Jayme will be reunited with her aunt this afternoon, Fitzgerald said.

The fact that Jayme is already out of hospital is a good sign IMO. Yes, she has a long road ahead of her as far as recovery though.

How did he case the house? He couldn't sit in his car anywhere close to the house because it is highway and he would be totally exposed. Did he sit in the woods, then he wouldn't see the front of the house. That sort of leaves, being in or around the house when they weren't home.

I don't know. I know most people just don't pay attention to their surroundings. I think small town people probably pay closer attention. Still Joseph Duncan cased the Groene house with night vision goggles. I don't think he had an elaborate plan. He killed the mother, the step father and their 13 year old brother simply because he wanted the 8 and 9 year old's. Such a sickening case. I think these sick individuals are so sick and get obsessed with what they want, they don't think twice about killing. JMO

Thank you. I didn’t get in to see an actual PTSD specialist until a few years ago. Plenty of therapy, but not a specialist in PTSD. I wish I’d done it years ago. I’m so happy Jayme will have access to the best mental health care. They’ll have her with a PTSD specialist, so she can begin to learn that she doesn’t have to let her PTSD rule her life. That’s a long time coming for her, but I’m comforted to know she’ll have access to it when she’s ready.

That and maybe they will get her adorable little dog, Mollie (??) the designation they give to dogs to allow them to travel, go to school, etc....that is, if Jayme wanted something like that..... I'm sure she is going to cling tight to that bundle of unconditional love. But like you said, that is a long way down the road.

I’ll be honest, this is an outcome that I was not expecting...kudos to jayme for having the guts to do what she did. That shy girl had the will to live...and come heck or high water, made it happen!

Still so very relieved and happy to see her reunited with family and her pup.

Looking at the size of the house, I wonder if he had her restrained in the basement and when people came over, basically threatened her with her life if she made any noise. Also, we don't know if this guy had (m)any friends who would have stopped by anyhow. And for things like holidays, if he did have any plans, he may have gone to other people's houses, rather than have people over to his place.

I have been thinking about how he did this--shooting through the door, murdering two people to take her. I am wondering if he had been watching/stalking her for quite a while--perhaps months. Maybe he initially wanted to try and abduct her elsewhere while she was alone, but maybe she just was hardly ever alone. Perhaps she went from school to dance to a bus, all with other individuals. She was too young to drive, so it's not like she ever could just run an errand on her own. Perhaps after watching so long, he came to the conclusion she was never by herself out in public and it was riskier than doing what he did. MOO

Sort of, yes. From that angle the lower level is like a raised basement. The window up top probably indicates a possible loft type setup in the attic. There's some square footage there, for sure.

Aunt of #JaymeCloss was pulled over by the sheriff yesterday. She thought she was getting a ticket, but they were telling her Jayme was alive

And I think the reason they had to pull her over was because she had turned off her phone, after the initial FALSE REPORT of Jayme being connected to the earlier police incident across town. So many calls and notifications, and then it was false, so she turned off her cell. lol They had to literally pull her over to tell her the awesome amazing news.

Okay so I got caught up on the details from the second presser. The question I have had all day is how did this guy know her if he wasn't from there. We didn't get that answer in the first presser and we didn't get it in the second one however we did get the tidbit of info that he worked a day in a half at the company that Jayme's father and mother works at BUT they didn't have contact. This is where my theory comes in and this hasn't been mentioned at all yet.

If Mr and Mrs Closs had an office or like open area where they worked at this company(I don't think we don't know what their roles were at the company. He could have worked in the meet part of it and maybe she had a desk job of the sorts or maybe both did who knows) maybe there were pictures of Jayme on their desk, and JTP saw them, then did some investigating to find out who she was. I know its a long shot but it would explain a lot.

What do you guys think?

Certainly possible, IMO. 65-70 miles one-way is a lengthy commute; I wonder if he lived around Barron, or was staying with a friend or relative in the area when he "worked" there.

I don't know about someone who is just a gamer (gamers get a bad rep), but I wouldn't be a bit surprised (in fact, am expecting) to learn that he also had ongoing accounts with certain social media sites that seem to bring out the kind of talk and chat that make me queasy (like the incel stuff).

Yes, it is a blessing Jayme doesn't have to endure recovery from any major physical trauma.

ETA: Lester Holt/NBC nightly news said they will be talking to the women who was walking the dog (although the lead in picture looks to me like to one whose house they went to)
