I do believe FBI is involved!
More than likely and imo the violent crime scene goes along with my thinking, this person or people that committed these crimes were known to the family. We haven't heard anything about forced entry have we?
Earlier today, the sheriff said they've used drones, infrared, they have searched the area around the home and they've searched the school. They have met with Jayme's friends, are working closely with the middle school she attended, and have reached out to the community to request they share her picture and report any sightings of Jayme. An Amber Alert was issued later in the day.Are LE actively searching with police cars? Advanced search tactics should be used. Drones or thermal cameras with drones could find her if she is in the woods.
The NCMEC and FBI are assisting in the investigation.Agreed .
I was going to ask about the use of SAR dogs. It'd indicate whether she left on foot (dragged away by a perp ?) or car, right ?
Wonder if the FBI will be asked to assist.
And, I mean this with all due respect.... but are the local LE equipped to handle a case of this magnitude ?
TWO dead and one possible kidnapping.... just seems like a lot for one small town police force to be able to cope with , I do mean that respectfully.
If I were the sheriff.... I'd want outside help ! I'd be asking for SAR dogs, infrared or thermal (SAR) night time imaging, etc.
Absolutely.
What if she is being held in someone's hunting stand or outdoor bunker ?
Seems to me that would have been mentioned and the public be made aware if it were the case. Not that I've seen.
Sorry, what is LE?Did LE collect a weapon?<modsnip - not victim friendly>.
Why?Thanks for the clarification. I have a gut feeling that this case won't be solved for a while.
Law Enforcement.Sorry, what is LE?
Yes!! That's him. Thank you.Matthew Hoffman iirc
Is this an area where people typically lock their doors at night?
(Deleted, someone answered before me.)Sorry, what is LE?
No. I live in GB, and we do. In a small WI town, I do not think so. My mom lived in Brillion, around the same population and didn't even lock her door.Is this an area where people typically lock their doors at night?
So, wouldn't LE now advise people to lock their doors at night if they thought this was random? I don't think they think this was random. jmoNo, not typically. I got teased by my dad a few weeks ago when I went home and locked my car doors when I parked in the driveway.
