There is an article search going on for a 3 square mile area just south of Madison, near the town of Oregon. The search is specifically near the highway 14 and Highway MM intersection. They're calling it an article search. The police will not comment on whether they've found a body or whether anyone is in custody. Tips have led them to this area. More information will be released at an 11:00 press conference. I don't have time to find a link, I am working right now, but if you look at www.madison.com there may be one there. I'll update you with what i hear on the radio as often as I can.

I heard this over the radio at 1670 AM WTDY Madison.

ON FNC, the police have a large area blocked off with police tape? The tape goes into the trees etc. Weird.

There was some girl, blond shoulder length hair, red blouse and skirt, walking with a policeman.

They're using dogs and horses for this search.

Yes, a body was found. They aren't saying if the body was of a man or a woman. This just said on the news.
 
On FOX, they did find a body. They don't know if it's Kelly or not.

Maybe that's why that girl was being escorted to the scene by a LE?

They do NOT have positive ID, but were led to this area in their investigation.

They did mention they are working a homicide investigation now...but won't say it is Kelly's investigation. (Yet they are there working on Kelly's case.)

This certainly isn't looking like the outcome anyone expected or wanted to hear on this case.

You're right about that. I thought for sure they would find her alive. I figured she was hiding out or messed up on drugs or something.
 
This is so frustrating! The wait has to be excruciating for the family and friends. : (
 
I am saddened by this whole development. Who ever that may be is someones child, friend, family... :(
 
It looks to be a working quarry. If you google map it into satellite image...county road mm and Highway 14.
 
This is happening so close to me and my curiosity is making me want to drive over there at lunch!!!!
 
Fox appears to be the only national news covering it. The local stations are probably all over it, but I am not getting any hits on them. Shamrock? Are the local news stations running it continuously there?

I'm at work so I don't have TV but the talk radio station I listen to is talking about it nonstop. I'm sure the news stations are too. They've been all over it recently. The press conference should be starting any minute.
 
Obviously, she didn't get from the bar scene to this area without someone else being involved. So the last person actually seen with her was the employee who said he passed her off to another man who said he knew her. Meaning...he was the last person to be seen with her since he cannot prove there was another man, Right?
