Just some info. She had a find a grave memorial but it is incorrectly listed with her sisters dates of birth and death. Her stone is in the picture and shows 1919 birth, no death date. She was apparently single and lived in Springvale, Columbia county, wisconsin. Her family is correctly listed on her find a grave page, and her stone was in portage’s cemetery.

She was reported missing and this picture comes from the newspaper. Note they said she was shopping, not at the dentist.

Does anyone have a way to contact adventurers with purpose? I know it’s a long shot but I bet she ended up in the lake

It is quite odd that although the family appears in numerous trees on Ancestry with her 7 siblings all appearing in most, she appears in only one that I have found (and is then misspelt Lowis). It is almost as if she has been written out of family history.

no. I don’t think it’s her anyway anymore. If there are any remains left, I think they are in the lake. That makes them almost impossible to find.

I sent it to Columbia county instead (the home of the Doe, vs. Zunker) - we will see.
