I also located Rita’s engagement announcement I think, from July of 1977.

”Spataro-Rahn Ms. Peg Spataro and Joe Spataro, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rita Rene, to Hans (Sonny) Rahn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rahn. She is employed at Doug's Inn; he works at El Tejon. The wedding will be Aug. 27 in the Olbrich Botanical Gardens.”

Her bio dad’s name was Elkinton, her mother’s second husband was Spataro, Rita used that name until she married Rahn. They divorced in 1980.

Sean was busted in Wisconsin in 1999 for OWI. The address listed was North Carolina, but he was driving in Oshkosh. I sent this on to her detective along with the name explanation.
