His attorneys need to setup a fundraising page or site. Yes, tis the season. :xmastree: Bail. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

Sorry, I draw the line at accused murderers. I know, not very sporting of me. Let em stay were they belong ---- :behindbar

Bah Humbug, RC! Bah Humbug!!

Jump, can I put you down for a couple grand? NCSU is having a new baby so I'm thinking he can only spare a grand.

I wonder if this is semantics and if they are including his mortgage in that estimate or not. Not that it matters...after all is said and done there will be nothing left. Divorce is always the cheaper alternative (not to mention the best alternative for self-preservation of life & liberty).

As for a new passport photo--that's one I've never heard before. Do you think his lawyers will try to make a case for him to go back to Canada if the DA pursues the DP (even though Canada supposedly doesn't have an issue with this anymore)?

We need an immigration specialist -I don't have a clue on this one.

Where did you get that picture of me from SG ? A very good likeness if i say so myself.

ETA - do you have any ideas what the deal is about Brad boy getting a new passport photo to maintain his immigration status ?[/QUOTE]

Perhaps CISCO intends to dismiss him at which time his work visa becomes void and he would be required (under "normal" circumstances) to return to Canada without a current Canadian passport or a job. Getting a passport photo to renew his passport could avoid any potential issues that could arise. That would be my guess.

That makes sense - Cisco lets him go he definitely loses that H-1B (?) status. Just not sure why he needs a passport sitting in jail, formality I suppose or rather legal formality. Thanks ! :)

Since he obtained approval for a passport - must be Cisco canned him.

Well, this must be a Canadian passport, since he is not yet a US citizen. If he is then I don't know about it, but isn't he just in the process of applying for citizenship? It sounds like BC's Canadian passport has expired or nearly expired. Perhaps his documents must be in order to continue to pursue US citizenship. But perhaps this was an excuse to update his passport because of potential travel plans. Brad was given permission to get the photo on the 7th. We didn't learn about the restraining order which restricts his ability to liquidate his assets until the 11th. Perhaps he was hoping to get bail and travel home soon? But, I'm not sure.

This whole matter is VERY concerning. Perhaps BC only has a "work visa" and it is due to expire. If he is not a full US citizen, how can the US have jurisdiction and why would he willingly apply to be any part of the US at this juncture?

The murder occurred in the US - the US definitely has jurisdiction.

Bail set at $2M.

Think he'll raise the 10% needed for bond?

Don't look at me. Now that most of the leaves have fallen, I'm spending my time listening to Christmas carols. So there's just no time to contribute to the "BC get out of jail" card.

Well, let's see, the house proceeds are in limbo, should it sell....

He owes his attorneys a buncha bucks...........

The Wake County DA doesn't arrest unless he's sure there is a very good chance of a conviction, so future earnings couldn't be pledged, (has Cisco cut the cord yet? He has a spankin' new passport which makes me think his visa was revoked because he has no employment)...........

And the banks aren't loaning money on bad risks any more.....

IF he were to bond out, where whould he live anyway? How would he pay rent? Utilities? Transportation?

Anyone looking for a roomie?

His family may have money. They may bail him out.

Kurtz said his mommie would stay with him - I guess in an empty house that is currently on the market. Maybe MH will take them in, seems SH is long over it.
