We talked with Luke's mom, Elizabeth, who said she wants answers from police.

"We are out here today trying to support me finding my son for a proper burial, which they have not searched for him. Troopers have his case, but they have not conducted a search, and they will not let nobody else search and rescue teams search for him, and I'm wondering why," said Elizabeth Stout.

Stout's family said his disappearance could be connected to the death of the Joshua Oberg.

Is LE not searching for him because he's an adult?

Whats puzzling is they wont let family and friends search?

I have a hard time with these young men since my son is the same age, It makes me really stress for some reason.

I hope his mother gets the support she needs and makes some progress with the protest.

A little bit about Josh Oberg:

He used to work at Santi's restaurant. Well, in January of this year, Santi's had a fire and was destroyed. The Fire Marshall deemed it "suspicious."

Some time after that in January, Josh was reported missing. Then, a man unknowingly confessed to knowing where Josh's remains were buried. Three other people were arrested for his murder.

I read the brief articles about Luke and apparently LE has said they can find no connection between the 2 men (Luke and Josh). There's more than enough to sleuth, I do believe.

I'm right there with ya. This story breaks my heart. I hope something is done soon to help this family find Luke. :(

Something about the type of person Luke is - as portrayed in this video especially - that gives me the feeling he probably isn't missing on his own accord...

:tears:

Where is Luke Stout?

There's 139 comments on the Luke Stout Topix page. Of course, Topix is all rumor, but at least it rumors by locals. I won't discuss any of it here, but if you want to see it and parse out what you might think is legitimate, then okay.

Remember, not to pull any of the rumors off the page please.

I'm not sure I understand the story - so few details. I know someones son is missing - I have no idea of circumstances except that the family are upset about no search efforts. Is there a place that he was last seen to search? Is there a reason that the police are NOT searching (is he voluntarily missing perhaps)? Are there more details somewhere?

I can't watch the you tube at work, maybe all my questions will be answered once I do.

Big Turn Out At Vigil Held For Missing Man Luke Stout
July 30, 2012

snipped...State police told 5 News earlier this week, that they're looking into a few leads. That if they find those leads to be true, it would tie his case into the murder of Joshua Oberg. That would also mean Stout's life is in danger.

Police haven't confirmed anything yet, but say that is what people around town are telling them.

Wowza. RUMOR ALERT: Apparently, the guy who was arrested for accessory before the fact for Josh's murder (he hired the other 2 guys to murder Josh), Rodolpho Correa Villagomez, had a wife. It is being said that Luke had a relationship of some sort with his wife and "chino" didn't like it. This is further corroborated on Luke's facebook page on a May 2nd post.

Additionally, looks like Villagomez owned a restaurant. Guess which one. Santi's. Check out the general manager:
