Still wondering if it was planned somewhat in advance after Gabby (possibly ?) told him she wanted out of the relationship ?
I think she said she was.leaving him !

Today is October 13th. BL disappeared September 13th.
One problem I have with this; there were signs of an actual campfire where Gabby was found.
I know there were, but unknown how recent. You may be correct, I guess it would have had to have been 3-4 weeks old, like all the evidence at that location. I think of campfires as night time events but what do I know? They could have set up camp after returning from Merry Piglets. After the murder, he would have had to put out the fire and pack up all the camp gear to remove it from the scene of her death and THEN abscond. jmoOne problem I have with this; there were signs of an actual campfire where Gabby was found.

She said she "usually doesn't drive the van", not that she didn't like it. RE cop cam. That is what leads me to believe that he had exerted control over her vehicle, actually her "house". I believe that because of some of the things he said, as in "I gave her time......." for her internet work. It's clear to me who controlled what in that relationship. I doubt that Gabby ever would have tried to speed away from the cops with lights blazing right behind them.
IMO
He is a physician and an Emergency Medical doctor. Previously the position was held by a deputy LE person.Coroners in WY are not required to be doctors or pathologists. They only have to take a coroner course. They’re also elected officials. This guy is a politician.

I don’t like that he did the interview, but the whole system in WY is…not ideal for situations like this. MOO.
I doubt that anyone who is not qualified would have participated in the autopsy. As well, I certainly do not feel qualified to judge this physicians qualifications. I just think second guessing his credentials isn't worthwhile...JMO.I'm not the only one who has raised an eyebrow at the fact that the coroner is a current family practioner. But, it sounds like lots of specialists were brought in to assist.
Yes, she gestures with a grip just at the bottom of her chin, very close to her throat, but not around it. It's a chilling moment, especially given the outcome. So frustrating that "slapping" was the only thing that got attention that day, not pushing, not shoving, not grabbing, not taking keys away, not locking out of van. Not reckless driving, not speeding. Not lying about the phone. Slapping, that's it.I had not read the entire interview until today. I’m cringing again when Gabby tells him about grabbing her face. Does the video show her visually grabbing her face or throat when she describes it?

We'll probably never know what happened. Even if BL gets caught at some point; I don't see a way that he ever tells the complete truth about what happened. But I thought she indicated nervousness about driving it and the cop said but you won't have to drive far or something like that.

Blue’s second attempt captures coroner jobI guess I am confused why that would raise an eyebrow?
I think they had a very heated discussion and painted him In a very bad.light!Ita.

She was completely nervous over everything at that point, IMO, a basket case. Her fiance beats on her both hitting and slapping her in public, tries to steal her car and phone, speeds and evades the law, she sits in the back of a squad car and learns that SHE will not be arrested. Then comes the part about driving the van. But what she actually SAID was "I don't usually drive the van." Which leads me to the conclusion she was not usually allowed to drive it, although, as you point out we don't know that for sure. But I thought she indicated nervousness about driving it and the cop said but you won't have to drive far or something like that.

From the experiences I have been around. What Gabby told those officers is totally normal behavior for a woman in her position. They typically take blame for anything bad happening so they don't have to fear retaliation for saying or doing the wrong thing when they get put back with their abuser. Gabby's story could have easily been only part of what happened, she most likely would have been scared to tell what actually happened.I have a question for those of you familiar with physical DV. Gabby claimed to have hit Brian first during their scuffle and also said she hit him when the police pulled them over. She also said Brian did not hit her but grabbed her face and pushed her back. She was very clear that Brian was wanting her to calm down. I believe her.
Is it normal for victims of long term DV to initiate violence with the one they fear? Or is it more likely that Brian's violence was new? I have no experience with DV and this is an honest question.
To be clear, I in no way put any blame on Gabby. I'm just trying to understand as I find this confusing.
I didn’t say he is not an MD. I said coroners in WY are not required to be.He is a physician and an Emergency Medical doctor. Previously the position was held by a deputy LE person.
