Lets be honest.....

If I had to see SA in a towel, I am definitely going to say ewwwwwww LOL

The only people that want to see that are his new groupies that want to be his girlfriend..... now that's laughable! I don't get the jailhouse groupie thing AT ALL! Even if SA is innocent of this crime... I don't think he is a nice person to anyone that is close to him.

I thank you for being honest and stopping an "us" against "them" discussion.

:blowkiss:

Well, welcome aboard dear =)

May I ask why, the change of heart?

Well, I have to admit I started the case with a bias of guilty. When I met hubby, he was living in Marinette County (long distance relationship). It was big news~~I don't think there was a soul that had not heard about it. Media bias convinced me and my hubby that he was guilty along with all of our friends and family. (BTW, hubby still thinks he's guilty) Anyway, I hadn't watched MaM yet, but I'm glad I didn't right off the bat. I came in with a he's guilty, prove him innocent. (I know that's not how the court system works) I sleuthed like crazy like everyone else, watched part of MaM, but never finished. Finally, finished watching it while up at the cabin. Honestly, all we have discussed over the last 8 months about things that just didn't add up. I will be totally surprised if he really did do it. Colburn from the get go, his interpersonal communication say it all. Kratz was just interested in a conviction, Manitowoc LE was just interested in a conviction. Calumet County LE were just used as a cover. I don't think LE did the deed, I think they planted evidence to ensure a conviction. I have a short list of who I think may have killed TH, which includes 2 females.

Watched the fly-over video that Skip got from Calumet again today. The bones were NOT intertwined. If the pictures show it (I'd have to go back and look) but then it was staged.

Here is what totally makes me angry. Manitowoc LE KNEW Gregory Allen could be responsible for PB's rape at the time of the rape, then again in the 1990's..but they CHOSE to ignore it. What does that really mean. It means a woman and most probably more suffered trauma at the hands of GA~~WHY? Isn't LE there to protect us? MCSO knowingly allowed that to happen. If I was that woman~~I'd be so angry at them!!!!! It was preventable. They had the opportunity 2x's, not just once!

Because I had a long distance relationship, I was traveling thru that area almost every other weekend. I often stopped in Green Bay. That could have been me! MCSO put every woman in that area in danger, their wives, their children, their mothers...for what??? Their reputation? Is that worth someone dying? We know GA's crimes were increasing, when were they going to stop him~~after he killed someone?

OH~~and the DUCT TAPE! Need I say more..LOL

Lastly, there is a sincerity in SA's voice when he says he didn't do it. I know~~sociopath's are very convincing, dated one before. BUT~~he is agreeing to the most intensive forensic testing ever in the state of WI and the country. Here is nail in the coffin. If he is guilty~~he just sealed his fate, forever! The testing will show his guilt. But he is agreeing to it~~so that tells me he is sincere. I guess we will all see very soon. If he is guilty, I will eat crow.

Teresa wasn't with a group of girls when this strange occurrence happened. She was alone. I don't blame her for being afraid of Steven Avery. JMO

I'm just TRYING to reiterate what Missy was saying in that statements can be taken different ways.
I know she wasn't with a group of girls. We ALL know she wasn't with a group of girls.
I am simply saying when I read TH LAUGHED and said EEW my first thought wasn't she was " REPULSED " by him.
I was TRYING to equate how I took it ( she didn't feel threatened ) and create a scenario to explain it.
Not very complicated.
Furthermore, if she were that darned scared, IMO, she would have NEVER even have driven to the middle of no where.
She had been there before. She knew who lived there no matter how odd, creepy, weird, REPULSED they were and IMO they all were anything BUT threatening or she wouldn't have went out of her way to CONFIRM her appointment THERE. She would not have put herself there, ALONE.

Yes, FACTually, it is incorrect and shouldn't keep being repeated.
Thank you, to ALL who post FACTS, from actual REPORTS & DOCUMENTS:tyou:
You are appreciated!

If a member posts parts of transcripts and voices their opinion about it I don't see why other members can't repeat or expound or say anything they what about it on this forum.

This witness seems believable to me. It shows that TH was repulsed by SA coming out in only a towel. That's very understandable.

It also makes it believable to me that SA would use tactics in the future to disguise his identity in order for TH to come to him. JMO

Don't leave RANCH~~we :loveyou:your opinion!!!

So, lets discuss.

I don't take it as she was repulsed. I take it as surprised. You know woman talk. There is nothing in Dawn's statement that says repulsion to me, surprised yes. I kind of "Oh my Gosh, I can't believe that happened, that has never happened to me before".

EEEWWW, he has groupies?:puke:

What do you mean by "not very complicated"? LOL You have to do a bunch of twists and turns to explain what you meant. LOL

Don't blame the victim for willingly going to a place that caused her death.

I think the Dawn testimony is a perfect example, it is one thing that can be taken different ways. But I think what dexter is saying is that the facts are facts.

Fact: Teresa said ewwwww and laughed. (according to Dawn)

Not Fact: Teresa said he creeped her out.

Those 2 statements IMO are completely different and depending on which one you hear, I think people would think differently, but again, JMO

On a side note: It's kinda funny because I always tease hubby when he goes out and mows the lawn and takes his shirt off.... I will say "omg you are going to scare the neighbours, creepy old guy with no shirt on" LOL He will reply with, "well you can be do it with your shirt off then" LOL Young girl having to see "old guy" in a towel, whether he had anything under it or not, yep, totally see her going "ewwwww"

I don't think Dexter was blaming TH. Just pointing out that a woman (from a woman's point of view) would not put herself in harm's way IF in fact she believed she could be at risk. I think we are taught from a young age to be cautious around strangers, particularly strange men, at least I was...

I'll be honest. I'm a 55 year old white guy. What do I know about things that repulse women.Nothing.

I will say that I would be feel really weird if some guy greeted me in only a towel when I made a business call. I doubt I would want to do a repeat visit. JMO

It's fine to do that.

This has ALWAYS been a very heated case/topic.

I DO appreciate though, when facts of the case ( like it was Kratz who said Creepy ) are put out there because as Missy stated a while back, there has been SO much gossip spread that is NOT fact.

I realize it is hard to communicate via text. You can't see ones facial expressions/hear tone of voice, it stinks sometimes.
I was NOT referencing it is OK to insult ANYONE. And we are NOT in third grade.
I was responding to the point you made about you not feeling comfortable posting & things getting personal.

Do you know how many times us AVERY supporters have been put down & down right insulted?
We've been treated not so well, and some posts HAVE been personal, by some of the same posters, for months.
Those posts have been liked & we aren't all throwing fits ( figure of speech, don't get mad ) because we know what we know =)
It's in the documents, and Zellner ROCKS!

I apologize, Ranch, if I hurt your feelings or made you uncomfortable or afraid to speak your mind.
Wasn't my intention at all.

Good point! However, sometimes we have to to make a living. Unless, you really really feel at risk. I remember having to go to a client's office who would always hit on me, invite me to lunch, offered to take me on vacation to Arizona. He was like 30 years older than me, not attractive at all. I say EEWW to this day thinking or talking about him. However, I never felt threatened by him. If I had felt threatened, I would have insisted that I be taken off the client. JMO, but I think that was how TH would have felt too.

AHHHH!!:waitasec:
Explains SO much!
Regards to this answer.
( you are going to really love me after this one, I know. ):blushing:

LOL

So think back to your days as a 25 yr old man.... what would you think if a woman in her 40's answered the door in a towel? LOL

****** answer carefully.... I'm in my 40's  JK

I'm guessing that most wouldn't think it's a big deal... and I don't think you can even answer this unless we assume that the woman had a history like SA's.

I would agree with you but for the fact that Websleuths has many threads where women where not cautious and it cost them their lives.

I think that TH was being cautious and that's why SA (possibly) lured her to her death. JMO

When I was a young man I had some older women hit on me and I didn't like it at all.

THANK YOU BCA...for spelling this out:gaah: I would NEVER blame Teresa:tears:
You nailed it, BCA, thanks!

Respected! I felt that way for 8 months now..as I said, I recently a convert from guilty to not guilty. I don't think we will ever REALLY know. Right now the evidence points to SA, tomorrow it might point to another suspect, but only the killer really knows.

...and by the way~~thanks~~I think I need to be more assertive when I talk to my boss about all these weirdo's I seem to come across in my profession.

I have not heard that TH was afraid of SA? TH had dealings with SA quite a few times from what i have read, & it wasn't the first time she had met with him to take photos of vehicles.
If she was scared of him i think she would have mentioned about going there by herself IMO, and got someone else to go with her or not gone there at all.
I just don't get that she was scared of him, because i think she would of confided that to someone she trusted like her mother or best friend and it would of come out as information from her family before the trial, IMO.

BCA ~ I just wanna say... I remember when you first came to the forum. I remember you were convinced that he was guilty.... and I remember most of your opinions were based off of the media at the time. It's been a long road..... LOL

I have said for a long time that I could accept it if it's proven that SA killed her, but I have to say, after the last few days, I have gone from 99% thinking he is not guilty to 99.9% LOL yep, that's right, I am reserving my 0.1% ;-)
