I'm sure they have. I remember early on they gave LE a list of 10 people or more of possible suspects. Some including me thought who in the world has 10 people who you think would take your child but they did. Thinking back now, they probably ran through all kinds of scenarios.
I'm...
I think even if her story is true, there'd still be more going through her head. Wouldn't almost everything that happened prior to the abduction possibly mean something to her? "I was at the grocery store and this woman said 'What a cute baby!' Maybe that's significant.
I just can't see that if you're the parent of missing child that you aren't constantly coming up with "well, what if this" or "what if that happened." Or "Maybe this is important..." Your mind has to be going a million miles a minute. I'd want to be giving LE everything that crossed my mind, I...

I am on the fence as to what happened. I hope for sake of the parents that in years to come they are able to look back and say that they did their best to find their baby. At least in terms of what's been sleuthed here they have a neighborhood teeming with possible clues. The police have to know...
Please tell me that's a typo. Never in my (fairly) long and cynical life have I heard of police quitting this early in a case. Generally they phrase it that a search has turned to recovery. Don't they? This whole thing is hideous.
