I can't believe she is willing to sit in jail for that long. If I were her I would be LIVID that I was in jail and CA was running around town a free man. I would be wanting to sell him out immediately.

KM should be in court this morning for a case management conference. Anxiously awaiting updates.

Hopefully Magbanua has not moved for a continuance yet because they are working out a plea deal. We can only hope.

Unfortunately, I don't think he has the requisite information. KM was the intermediary. The one who spoke to both the killers and those who hired them. She delivered the money. They need her testimony for a case to go forward against the family.

I don't think people have lost interest. Everyone I've spoken to is anxious for the case to progress, it's just that with so much time between hearings, people run out of things to talk about on the internet. With regard to the Jury/Non Jury trial thing, I think that is just a computer code...

The Tallahassee Democrat article says "In a scheduled four-hour hearing next month, Magbanua will be compelled to prove to prosecutors who is paying for her two Miami attorneys"....but I don't think that's actually the case yet. The state is going to be making argument that Magbanua should be...

I finally received the Notice of Taking Depositions filed a few weeks ago by Magbanua's attorneys. They set depositions of basically all the law enforcement involved in the case (sheriffs, detectives, investigators, etc.) to take place this past week. I hope all the depositions went forward...

I saw that a Notice of Taking Deposition was filed in Magbanua's case yesterday. I ordered it but of course it will take several days to come in.

Also, I saw that the State's Motion to Continue the hearing on the Motion for Conflict of Interest Inquiry said that they need additional time because "the state has several outstanding subpoenas seeking up-to-date financial information for Defendant" (KM). So, although the delay was...
