I’m not sure the lack of ground searches shows that there isn’t a push to find her.
I think it more indicates the amount of information they have. They don’t have any information leading them where to look. jmo
I think a big reason why we are still here is that it’s not about what was missed or overlooked etc.
I don’t think there was likely a lot of evidence left behind.
We can sit here and complain about the investigation and the sheriff etc until we are blue in the face.
But in any investigation...
I still wonder why so many have been so accepting to take as fact that the lights were broken by some roofer when it’s much more likely it was done by Lantana man/accomplices.
It was as if everyone just said yeah that’s plausible, roofers are sloppy and careless, it was probably already like that.
If that's accurate it leads me to believe there was a struggle at the front door.
I wouldn't be surprised if NG would have put up some resistance while trying to be removed from her home, like grabbing the door frame etc.
Apparently he thought is was necessary to try to obscure the camera while he removed it. Real time monitoring vs wanting to conceal evidence after its removal.
Not very sophisticated and not done with much forethought. JMO
It's zoomed in so far and such a small area that its hard to make an accurate assumption.
I will say it appears there is either some contact with an object to dissipate some blood.
Which could be caused by already being swabbed for testing.
Or it is mixed with some aspiration.
Or a...
I'm confident if there were tracks left, that as soon as investigators would have shown up they would have documented those things immediately.
That's just crime scene 101. JMO
I could see a scenario where lantana man and his possible accomplices wanted something of value that wasn't Nancy. Maybe there was a safe that they knew about and Nancy refused to give them the combination? Or she gave it to them and what was inside wasn't what they expected?
Things escalated...
If that's the case then I'm thinking either the ransom notes were an afterthought or they are not from the people that took her.
By the time the initial ransom note was received many things had already leaked out imo.
I'm curious how precise those details will actually be when we eventually...
Good point, I'm not sure what to make of it either tbh
Doors propped open would normally mean somebody was planning to move things in or out. And or moving in and out multiple times and not wanting to have to keep opening the door/s.
It would normally make me think of a home invasion robbery...
That's interesting, I'd almost wonder if she was removed on a mattress if that was the case.
Although I doubt they would have initially thought paramedics were involved if that were the case.
Maybe if only a comforter or something was missing maybe that wouldn't have been as concerning at...
Was it multiple doors at different entry points? Or is it referring to more than one doors as in a double patio door? Do we have a photo of the doors on the rear patio under the awning?
ETA: I'm almost picturing two doors propped open at singular entry point like if you were moving something it...
