There had been concerns raised with small samples possibly being consumed before Quantico could review and retest it.
From February 13th
"This is so devastating," said Othram co-founder Kristen Mittelman. "DNA Labs International is a traditional forensic lab that consumes evidence to make an...
I just can't reason why it would be necessary to acquire a Hyper-realistic mask and then to cover it with a ski mask.
A Hyper-realistic mask would be all that was needed for a successful disguise.
I think its far more likely and reasonable that the ski mask was the disguise JMO
I wish we knew how confident they were that it's actually a partial DNA from the perp. Where in the home and the significance of what it was recovered from etc.
I would say that OWB (outside the waistband) holder position, Some times referred to as an appendix carry is somewhat unusual. 3-5 o'clock positioning would be much more common imo.
It could also mean they think they have a good idea of who it is but don't have enough evidence.
They could be hopeful that someone close to the perp has information but has been unwilling to come forward and that the large reward might be significant enough for someone to come forward. MOO
I think his attire was to conceal himself and also not to leave physical evidence.. Dark clothing, long sleeves, full length pants etc
A gun pointed at you can be very persuasive IMO
Hard to put ones self in that situation until you have actually been in it.
As seen any many cases a gun can...
People sure can make alot of details out of that fairly short clip.
I just see normal unassuming movement. Methodical almost nonchalant.
Body characteristics with layers of clothes, full or bulky looking backpack, full face mask. He just appears to be average Joe anyone to me.
I feel like...
Honestly the way he was dressed full face mask, gloves, pants, coat. It would not surprise me if there was no DNA left from the actual perp or a minimal mixed sample.
Or it could very well be a possibility that the sample is unrelated to the crime. We have seen that in other cases where there...
I think it’s probable that more than one person was involved or atleast had direct knowledge.
Hard to say how well planned it was until we see the evidence. I have a feeling it might be sloppy but just mainly circumstantial evidence.
I believe the image had already been released by the time they set up the tent.
Tent day 2/12
Non backpack image released 2/10

I really hope this case will be solved soon.
I think if it’s LD it likely will be.
If it’s some other individual I think we could be here for a while.
I think LE believes it’s LD, I sure hope they are right!
I really can’t think of too many murder for hire plots where the hitman took and disposed of a body. But i’m actually starting to believe it might actually be reasonable here.
Makes more sense than some theories i’ve entertained tbh
ETA : And it would definitely lead to more complexity solving...
