I said this! Not Hexe. And I said it at the beginning when we didn’t know where she fell out. I believe my words were something along the line of IF he went the way he should have, she could have just walked to shore, and I stand by what I said at the time. We found out some more information and...
The phone service wasn’t spotty 18 years ago. I found it plenty easy to confirm with my friends on a prepaid Verizon phone plans our nightly (underage and foolish plans) without issue on a much smaller island about 5 nautical miles away
I’m still here and reading. I’ve pretty much come to my conclusion on what happened, and I unfortunately know this lady didn’t “bounce” off the dinghy using the route they should have taken.
You guys are the best if I ever go missing please make sure it’s this group that is searching for me!
Watkins Glen New York on Lake Seneca, it has so many deep spots it can stay cold all summer. July is like 69 degree water temps, which is wet suit for me at least.
Im curious
i use to waterski, I got physically nauseous when I saw other people lake skiing in June without a wet suit, it gave me hives. That water is cold as heck, and why not have a helper after I skied 15 miles and I’m tired, the life jacket doesn’t hurt or impact the skiing
#1- makes sense dingy from dinner to sail boat, that actually makes perfect sense to me
#2- the storms in that area last 30 minutes tops, and come in aggressively (you can see them come in), you wouldn’t take your boat that short distance if a storm was coming you’d just wait it out, it would be...
Really dumb question, why did he not row back to his Sailboat, and use his radio to call the coast guard. Paddling to Marsh Harbour makes even less sense now.
Yes you are correct going from Hope Town to Elbow Cay, and yes supposedly rowed from somewhere between Hope Town and Elbow Cay to Marsha Harbour.
I would agree with your assessment of the water, it can absolutely get choppy not denying that fact, but it's very clearly not open ocean levels.
If they were going where they said they were, they wouldn't have been that far out, they could have hugged the shoreline, and just went from Hope Town to Elbow Cay. How they ended up where they did makes no sense for that trip. Also it's been long enough I am going to say it, going to Marsh...
No! It's a huge no no. We rented boats and we had to have the boats back by sunset docked on the bay. If not there was a ridiculous fine. Now these people could have owned their boat I guess, but no you don't take rented boats out after dusk. It will earn you a fine, and the boat rental...
Since you are familiar as well. If he was going Hope Town to Elbow Cay. Why in the world did he manually (for emphasis obviously it was done manually), paddle all the way to Marsh Harbor that just seems silly, and much more difficult of a trip. When you are in Hope Town you are on Elbow Cay...
Is the current really strong there? It's been a while I know it's strong across the bay at Marsh Harbour and going from Marsh Harbour to Elbow Cay and Hope Town would be strong. But from Hopetown to Elbow Cay you are pretty protected no? Like I said it's been a few years but I spent all of my...
I mean I don't think it matters, but at least he appears to speak Spanish fluently, all his Facebook posts that are public are translated from Spanish.
