This is fairly local to me. I just can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks and no sign. It’s crazy. Whenever I’m out driving, I’m looking. The poor family is anguished. I keep wondering if he left the area completely. I’m hoping he’s found safe and soon.

I did and I think Sheriff Federspiel eluded to that possibility during one of his interviews. He mentioned the person could have fallen from a plane. Hopefully he’ll keep us informed when the resting comes back.

IMHO somewhere along the line some one read the statute he was charged under, which includes the word defacement, and started a rumor based on their lack of understanding. Michigan Legislature - Section 750.160
