Well, there will be a trial. This pre-trial crap is just that. She will get what she deserves -- or, as close as possible to it. [We well know that, although she deserves the death penalty, that won't happen.] Her final judgment will be deferred.

I blame the person who brought this horrific woman into the child's life to begin with. How does someone let another person run roughshod over a child?

Daybell wants to keep off the jury those who are out to get her. (Who could that be?)

I believe that he is entitled to a new trial.

Answer Due 11 Feb 2025 Defendant's motion to suppress evidence (statements made to law enforcement by Defendant), was denied. That decision has been appealed. Answer is due 11 Feb 2025.

I'm hoping they'll get her on the stand today and then the jury can start deliberating. [Oh, but I forgot that there has to be closing arguments -- don't know if all of that can happen by C.O.B. today -- revising my guesstimate: they'll drag out this witness and then will put NC on the stand...

Did NC have a fever when she went to see Dr. Halsey? She was prescribed an oral steroid, and also promethazine for nausea/vomiting. No antibiotic prescribed? [I think she was faking it to avoid the trip in the plane to see the banker. IMO!] Symptoms of allergic reaction to promethazine...
