"Chambers County District Attorney Cheryl Lieck explained why the trial is being transferred.“The defense filed a motion for a change of venue because of the publicity,” Lieck said.
McDowell’s trial will begin June 3, Lieck said. Although the trial would be in Galveston, Judge Chap B. Cain III...
I have a feeling he's going to be offered a plea deal with a very lenient sentence in exchange for the location of her remains. It's a last ditch effort to find Dona and get closure for her family before he passes - I hope it works.
The family of Bryce Laspisa, a 19 year old missing from the Santa Clarita area, posted on their facebook page that "the preliminary report (on the remains found in Santa Clara River) indicates a much older person with extensive dental work". Do we know if Will had extensive dental work? I hope...
This is the man she was introduced to at a mutual friend's house earlier the same day she disappeared, they exchanged numbers and she met up with him later that night to smoke weed. He was the last person known to have contact with her. I recommend listening to the Zoe Campos episode of Unfound...

If that comment is true, I'm thinking it's not officially confirmed yet. Maybe there were personal items found with remains that make them believe it's Steven but awaiting DNA confirmation.
I hope they'll be able to find these boys' bodies. If Enrique was dumped in the river, his remains might be difficult to find almost 2 years later...
tnith, do you have a link for the remains that might be Elijah's? I haven't heard about that yet.
