Won't they, in effect, have 22 separate cases to consider though?
I would have thought two weeks might be on the 'rapid' side, even coming to an easily agreed verdict (and not a majority one) of two 'cases' per day takes it to two weeks minimum.
It would not surprise me if it took four...
It was wondered above whether this could be Munchausen's by Proxy.
I would say this is not the behaviour seen in Munchausen's - from the NHS site "Munchausen syndrome is a psychological condition where someone pretends to be ill or deliberately produces symptoms of illness in themselves." (my...

Firstly, apologies for my somewhat confused little brain here, it's definitely not yet up to Websleuths speed and clarity!!
Right, let the ramblings commence....
Train of thought here... if LL is accused of multiple previous murder/harm attempts on single children...
a) how were those...
It looks like a simple coverage map for each mast/base station (admittedly not my work area, I was primarily on the systems rather than the local network but worked alongside the network guys and moved in 2008 to global systems rollout, so even further from the front line)).
Only the 2G and...
All connection data (so a phone that is connected to the network, irrespective of whether a call is being made/received) is recorded as part of normal system operations and requires no manual intervention. Getting the data specific to a phone, once the data mining specs are in place, is...
Yes, this is pretty close - the pinging is continual, to any/every mast that can hear the ping, to ensure a connection can be made when required but is not, as you say, a permanent connection.
Disconnecting/switching off the phone sends an explicit 'I'm turning off' message rather than going...
Servers (indeed all connected devices) are configured from a central source, so would have been done by Vodafone Portugal with whatever time they deemed correct.
That's not to say they got the time right, of course. In my time, VF UK themselves dropped some astonishing clangers with the UK network.
'Ping' data is to all intents the same as 'active connections'. So long as your phone is switched on it is permanently connected via a mast/base station to the network. So there is, therefore, a permanent live connection (although no actual call) to the mast from the phone sending out an "I am...
If the next nearest mast/base station was at least 13km away, then this could be true and would apply if the phone was directly between them.
So, is the next mast/base station 13km away? If not, then the relative distance to the phone reduces the closer the next mast is. Now if there are three...
...and the fact that nothing has happened with regards to this suggests either the data no longer exists (or wasn't collected in detail at the time) or there were insufficient base stations pinged.
