It could have been taken more seriously because of the harassment. Kada might have shared screenshots or recordings with her family or close friends or they strongly suspect who was behind them.
I, too find it strange that so little info is shared but the FBI is already involved... Perhaps if...
Even if that was the case, I don't believe she was alone in this shift. There must have been at least one other staff member on shift for security reasons.
The police wording that she left work indicates that she either informed someone or she was seen by someone leaving.
I also think this could be a woman with her hair in a bun or a short ponytail. And by pure statistics, as the height of the individual seen on CCTV footage was estimated to be between 5'3" and 5'5", it would be most probable to match a woman's height.
He could be meeting someone in London later in the day so he had some free time to kill. Andrew would still need to catch the morning train to London to avoid being seen hanging around & skipping school in Doncaster.
He did have family in London and he often visited them with his family. I think his grandmother lived in London as well as his uncle. I wouldn't think anyone from his greater family would lie for something so serious!

Has anyone been able to find more info regarding the circumstances of Tanya Jackson going missing back in 1997? Was she even reported as missing or entered in a missing persons database?

Thank you so much for this change! I still remember years ago the grey and blue colors of Websleuths. The Orange was too strainful to the eyes, and I've been wanting to ask for a change for years...
Exactly! Back in 2008 using public phone boxes was still common. You could even place a call to a specific phone box and have the other person answer. The phone number was written on the box.
It's not just the Norwegian law. Privacy laws cover the whole Europe and these International DNA databases are privately held so sharing sensitive information with third parties is against European law. I wish it could be different and an exception could be made when we are talking about...
That is so interesting ! I didn't know such payphones existed, apparently since as early as 2003 according to a photo I found on Alamy. Does anyone know if they were available all over the UK or only in central London?
It's exactly this point I often think about. What we know of Andrew was his behavior up to adolescence. But he was 14, a time when most teenagers change behaviors, habits and start challenging the world around them so they can form their own opinions and will instead of what is expected of them.
