This is truly unbelievable. I’m glad the jury asked this question this time and that is atleast on record. She should’ve informed them that a partial verdict is accepted.

I hope they are thinking if it’s based on 1230am OUI, it’s not guilty because they shouldn’t have been able to use some weird reverse blood alcohol to prove that. She very likely did drink after she got home. She was upset and stayed up much later making phone calls.

Wow I’m not surprised at these questions. That verdict form was a huge issue. Sounds like only thing they are talking about is driving while intoxicated. Which imo shouldn’t have even been a charge by itself as an option. 🙄

The foreperson should’ve been chosen after the alternates are selected. That’s crazy.

That’s ridiculous, so seat 1 is an automatic deliberating juror. That’s not very random.

What if juror 1 is a selected alternate?

On the jury I served on, we selected our own foreperson. It’s interesting that in Mass the judge selects.

Of course 30min lunch ended up being an hour. I don’t think they have ever came back from lunch when they are supposed to this whole trial.
