Porepunkah shooting: Two officers dead and another wounded after shooting at High Country property, Victoria, Australia #2

I would say (with some decades of experience in media) the term "experts" is generally referred to a selection of contacts the reporter/journalist can call upon to ask questions about a specific event/crime,and they will be that news outlets "expert"

I thought we were discussing a police response to alleged shootings. Your post sounds more like you've decided how a march seemingly unrelated to this incident will play out before it happens. I thought this site was apolitical. Or have I missed something?

GUILTY Australia - 3 dead after eating wild mushrooms, Leongatha, Victoria, Aug 2023 *Arrest* #17

This may sound like splitting hairs, just to be clear, Channel 7 does not have a helicopter. It has a lease arrangement with the 9 network in Melbourne and share those resources including camera recordings.

Another nothing story. Cassie is a good journalist, unfortunately the 7 News story is a bit misleading and a bit of a letdown. I watched the story and nothing new.

Australia Australia - Cindy Crossthwaite, 41, Melton South, Vic, 20 June 2007

I made a slight error, the details are incorrect, the boy was not the son of Emil Petrov, and the perp has still not been identified.

Finally justice served. We had a friend who knew the victim quite well, and at the time was very shaken that a person could do this and leave an infant alone. Even more disturbing to now know it was the little boys dad.

The jury for a Ballarat trial isn't necessarily from the town. I live within the 60km radius and was summonsed for jury duty a few years ago. It came at the absolute worst time for personal/work reasons. I deferred it twice and ran out of free passes.Last call up was cancelled. So back in the...

Thanks. I can't offer any hunches or opinions regarding this case, other than to say what is an obvious thing, the police have a lot more going on than the public and the media are aware of. Most reporters will have a police contact they deal with formally or informally and may discuss a case...
