wow. I never heard of this case. Granted I was five in 198o, but St Ignace isn't too far from where I grew up. Not to be critical of the UP, but we don't have a great track record of solving murders and missing person cases. So sad for her family and friends-to wonder and worry all these years...

the local news up here reported this morning that she will not be changing the UP coronavirus level so we will stay at level 5. not sure how i feel about this given the increase in cases and that the school opening guidelines contain no required safety measures (only recommended ones) for level...

I am watching the daily updates with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. The UP cases are racking up rapidly and, while the numbers are so "low" compared to downstate they are higher than they have been since the safer at home order in March. We had so many days up here with no cases...

My son has Autism and ADHD. At one time he was prescribed Risperidone to help him sleep. He wasn't on it long before I asked for an alternative. He was almost zombie-like on the Risperidone and I didn't think the extra sleep he got from it was worth the side effects.

Yooper here. So far we have a handful of positive cases spread across the U.P. This has resulted in many people not taking the stay at home, stay safe order seriously. Fellow Michiganders, how are your respective communities responding to the order?
