I read today that the O’Keefes are asking for 50k in the civil suit. Since Karen will likely be defended by her insurance company, they’ll probably settle. 50k isn’t that much.
I know they were previously aware. But it sounded callous during the interview for him to say so flippantly he wasn’t going out in his underwear. Also that he wasn’t Canton PD, like nope off the clock here. I’m not related to JOK and that was hard to hear.
I wonder how the OKeefe’s feel hearing that Brian Albert couldn’t be bothered to go outside and render aid after knowing their son was gravely injured on his lawn?
Puts out a statement saying there may be more to say in the future but for now they need to mourn.

Does it help alleviate your concerns to know this wasn't a factor per juror #4? I hope it does :) The jurors were very serious and respectful of their role to be fact finders and review the evidence as presented in the courtroom.
Per juror 4, it didn't influence them. They knew how important their role was and they didn't let outside factors influence their viewing of the evidence.
They were awful to her during the car ride. A normal, empathetic person would be reassuring her that they’d find him, holding her hand, telling her it would be ok, etc. These women were mean as hell to her in a very vulnerable moment. Really speaks to their character.
The McAlberts will never accept the verdict because it points the finger at them. I doubt they’ll ever slither back into their respective holes. They aren’t the type. They’ll continue to be the nasty awful people that they are.
