I've had the opportunity to read it but so far have decided to pass. I never met Melissa but might have had she lived, but I just don't know if I want all the nasty details in my head. I can't help but feel even more disgusted by PP at this point. Her whole demeanor in this latest court...
It's also telling that PP faces more time than AP if both are convicted of the current charges. Seems like investigators think she was the instigator too. But I would watch for her lawyers (when this eventually goes to trial, which probably won't be for quite some time) to point the finger at...
Those shots are truly sickening-- like she is loving the attention.
I have not read the actual affidavit but heard from those who have that it's horrific and you'd probably be better off just to pass.
I do, however, have to question the veracity of Patricia's supposed comments about Ty...
More and more, it's looking like Patricia may have been "the brains" behind this horrific attack. That she reportedly talked about Melissa that way after shows she had no remorse. It's like she was proud they made Melissa beg for her life, and then went ahead and killed her anyway. Well, I hope...
Anyone outside VT still following this? We all knew this was coming, right?

Just wanted to share this beautiful video that was made for Melissa's son Ty from words/pictures of support sent from all over the country and world even. Love wins!

Ooh, I missed that. It sounds like it, although I would think to upgrade to aggravated murder (involving a sexual assault) they might need his DNA. I would hope it means they may already have his DNA, but I fear it could mean they did indeed cut a deal with him in exchange for a confession...
Here's another new one from today:
Patricia Prue Challenges DNA Order

Is there any chance this woman will NOT be required to submit to a DNA sample?
Again, I have to respectfully disagree with the overall assessment that the NEK is as backwards as that. Yes, it is very rural, and there's a certain element of people who are backward and isolated, but I run into more people who aren't than who are. Besides the fact that there are a lot of...
Also noticed this little bit in that article:
Henry said state police still welcome any and all input the public might have about Jenkins's murder.
"If the public has any information about this case case we'd appreciate hearing it," said Henry.
What do others think, could this be a hint LE...
One more quick note. I want to note that while I think AP and PP may have been susceptible to outside influence, I don't think they were incapable of knowing right from wrong. They had enough sense to choose a victim (with "help" or not) who was nice and would be likely to respond to a call for...
Yeah, as I said the fact that she had a bi-racial son could be completely irrelevant or could have played a role in building AP's anger over her rejecting him. Anger was clearly a factor in this crime, but it seems strange the degree of anger toward someone he hadn't been around all that much...
Hi. I'm brand new to this site and late to this discussion. I live not far from where this crime took place. I did not know the victim but identify with her on many levels. The viciousness of this attack has rocked our community, and it both chills me to the bone and breaks my heart.
Anyway...
