I never understood why a dog wasn't brought out to track him. He was very clearly acting erratic, had stripped his clothes and walked off into the desert. I think several weeks after the fact was too late for FLIR but probably not a canine.
Not likely that she went for a run and killed herself in such a secluded place that no one found her for this long.
There are a couple of creeks on the map LE provided. I think she was abducted and dumped in a creek. At least they have a body now. And a body usually means evidence.
If she had her phone, FitBit, earbuds, running attire and shoes with her on her run and none of those are in the house, it stands to reason she never returned to the house.
