I remember this topic (online predator) being bounced around ages ago, it was a logical explanation. Snap map features didn’t exist then, so this would indicate prior communication and planning. Hopefully if other young girls come forward they can put together a bit more information about this...
I think that’s the only way it will be solved now, the person has to come forward. I always wondered if LE had someone in mind but not enough evidence.
The reason I asked earlier if location services were on, was because Snapchat allows you to see others using Snapchat on a map. A person can load the app and see if there is anyone in the area (assuming she allowed public location service which a lot of young peoples do). This would have allowed...
Thanks for the great info. Given it was a school free day (given a long weekend due to snow days) I wonder if the perp was familiar enough with the area to know this and thus that children would frequent the bridge? (if it was a crime of opportunity).

It would be a shame if they have focused on the wrong person, but the fact he left town so quickly looks pretty suspect on his part...
