Possible but I think they are really going to go after them about the time gap before the 911 call and also that they called friends first. Not sure how the jury will react.
I hope defense doesn’t try to pin the deaths of the roommates on DM, saying if 911 was called immediately...
I believe that the knife sheath was carelessly left behind by BK BUT another scenario could be that the killer purposely left a particular type of knife sheath at the scene to throw LE off… so they would be looking specifically for a Kabar knife when in fact a similar but different type of knife...
This has all been discussed before and is speculation on my part but the more we learn, the more I believe this is what happened:
The other surviving roommate (BF) woke up first, went upstairs and saw blood and/or the bloody footprint on the 2nd floor, noticed that the 3rd floor was also...
Agree, probably not relevant. When I read it I didn’t give it much credence and just thought “OK, interesting, so he didn’t frequent the Mad Greek, maybe that’s not how he met the girls”, and filed it away and then moved on.
Agree. It was reported as K & M were found in a single bed. At first, I took that to mean single bed was being used synonymously with twin bed. Then I realized that LE was probably referring to single bed as meaning there was only one/single bed in the room.
I think BK was on an adrenaline high at that point… with the barking dog and other noises during the murders he knew he needed to get out quickly, and he still had the presence of mind to know he had to be very quiet. I think he was so focused on getting out quickly & quietly that there’s a good...
MOO, considering BK had only moved to WA sometime over the summer, prior to university fall semester starting, the August 21 traffic stop confirms that he was familiarizing himself with Moscow very early on. IMO, he crossed paths in Moscow with one or more of the girls and began stalking them...
IMO, BK returned to Moscow and drove past the crime scene the next morning out of curiosity to see what was going on and check to see if LE was on the scene yet. Kind of like murderers often attend victims’ memorial vigils…just to be nosey and to be a part of it. He returned in the morning...
Several posters on the previous thread mentioned that DM’s description of the intruder wouldn’t hold up in court as “bushy eyebrows” describes many males. However, she was spot on with the intruder’s build & height, and black clothing & mask covering his nose and mouth, which I hope are...
It’s my understanding that although the car may be cleaned of visible blood, stains, etc, microscopic evidence would remain and would still be visible during forensic inspection while using special chemicals, lighting etc. Also, it appears that when BK was cleaning his car in PA he was under FBI...
