At the following link, it mentions that Sheriff Oeth said they went to high school together. Either House was held back for several grades or the Sheriff is confused (or the reporter misunderstood)...

Her friend, in a post here, said they weren't searching the high school -- that's just where they met prior to a search the other day.

Joelle went to high school with the male perpetrator, so she probably thought he & his girlfriend were harmless. Horrible betrayal of trust, to say the least.

I've been following Kristy & Noelle's cases, and I am THRILLED that Joelle has been found alive. I don't get why people are immediately skeptical when we know so little at this point. Would they be happier if she was found dead?
