These are two references I've found to the witnesses...
Thank you for your sweet post! No, I don't have any profiling experience. I started out in crypto maintenance and that slowly evolved to computer and network management over the years. Thank you, though, for the compliment! :)
I'm going to go through the very first links posted in these threads. There appears to be a few different stories about the co-worker and witnesses. I've heard that someone sat and watched the van and I've also heard that someone drove by, turned around, and came back to the station as the van...
From early reports, the 'witnesses' were driving by the Exxon station and saw something 'out of the ordinary'.
This is what I think happened:
Husband and wife (Jessica's co-worker) are driving down the road.
Wife glances over at the Exxon station. (We all do this when we pass by our place...

I go with the theory that she went out to 'help' him because her family...
It was a crime of obsession. He is obsessed with Jessica's type, but not necessarily Jessica herself.
This guy knew he was going to abduct somebody. He did it on HIS terms.
He picked this station due to its location. I think he had checked out other stations and other workers.
Jessica fit...
I agree that there may be another witness that the police have not publicly mentioned.
I also think that the person who saw the van that night had probably seen the man before at the store.
If he was stalking he may have been at the store a lot. The clerks would know a 'regular' customer...
Good questions! Personally, I believe the perp was stalking several gas stations and several girls. He took Jessica because his 'stars' aligned so to speak. She was alone, there were no other customers, etc.
I thought about a smoke break... but very early on in this thread someone pointed...
Thank you for posting a larger photo :) It's much better than the one I tried to post and my computer kept locking up and freezing... This is very helpful!
