I just read the driver of the car came forward and it was determined the car was unrelated.
Why the heck was he walking over that bridge? I read he headed away from where he lived? Who would walk over that at night?
I saw DJ'S mom post the have a arranged a funeral/burial for him in about 2 weeks. I guess that means they expect to have the body then. Some people on social media were urging her to hire an independent examiner to look. At DJ.
Here are 2 more photos of the riverwalk near FDB of random graffiti and also from standing at the spot where the cadaver dogs hit and the water was searched.
The "smiley face" I photographed is on the river walk below Fort Dusquene Blvd. I walked down the stairs to the riverwalk to the area where the police did a water search back in Feb. It's not the North Shore, it's across the bridge on the side of Katz. It's where I believe I think he walked down...
Just to add my two cents. I moved here from Philly, which is a much larger city, and the problem with Pittsburgh is the downtown becomes quiet after work hours because everyone packs up and heads home. Not as many people live in the city like Philly. I don't feel Liberty is unsafe, but I would...
Yeah, there was a lot of graffiti on the wall of the riverwalk bewteen the bridges. The bridges are lit up in pretty colors at night, and it is kind of secluded so I could see it being a "romantic" spot for a meet up at night, if that was the intention. It appears a lot of people go down there...
I went for a walk this afternoon where the cadaver dogs hit on the scent back in the beginning of February. This was my first time down there. I had trouble loading the photos here, but I took one of what looks like a smiley face and also the spot where the water search was where the dogs hit...
I assumed he was identified by his tattoos. I think he had a couple.
I am still in shock he was found in the water because I was so sure he wouldn't be. I know that area well and you really have to make a point to get down to the riverwalk and I don't know why someone would venture down there...
I actually heard the area around Wood Street T stop is not good. There were problems in the past with kids, can't remember if someone was shot or what. But i heard that stop is trouble, even if it is in the open. So as a woman late at night I would not want to stand there alone.
Weird. Maybe it was changed to honor someone he was close to? My first thought was transgendered, but I have seen younger photos and he was always a guy. I know someone who changed their name for religious reasons. Maybe he really hated his middle name?
