Seems to me if the police search dogs couldn't track her down by now then she's just not there. Maybe somebody that knows more about search dogs could comment.
Darrel Rice was indicted for the murders of the two female campers several years ago. But the case fell apart and he was released. If he was indeed innocent then the killer is still out there.

My guess is that they will solve this one fast. Odds are that it's a crime of passion and the c'ville police know exactly who it is and they are interrogating "him" as we speak.
Chief Longo in his press conference said that they are looking at the 17 year old girls associates. Perhaps a jilted lover. May explain the stolen car. Many 17 year old teens don't have cars. The killer stole the car after the murder.
Why would perp dump evidence( probably bloody clothes) in dumpster that was located near the victims stolen car? The only thing dumber than that would be if the perp actually lived in that apartment complex. "Oh my clothes are all bloody- let me go shower up and put on some fresh clothes and...
About the car that was stolen. Whoever killed them did not have a car at the time- took theirs. Risky. Finger prints - surveillance cameras at the apartment complex where the car was parked. Police seized the apartment complex dumpster. Police said for people to report somebody with bloody...

So now the real time that the last text was sent was 1:06 am Saturday morning. The cops initially said the last text was sent at 1:20 am-- is all this correct?
I don't get it-- the computer records that the last text was sent at 1:06 and the cops say "no no" the message was really sent at 1:20. Is this what you are saying? I guess I don't understand something- not sure what it is
So the time is accurate. The cell phone did not make a mistake recording the time the text was sent- correc?. I guess the auto correct function refers to computerized correction of text. I don't see what/how the computer would correct to give that message. Perhaps she texted an hour earlier that...
I think I read that HG's last text telling her friends she was lost was at 1:20am in the Wertland street area-- can somebody tell me if that is correct?
