I feel bad for the parents too. They are long haul truck drivers which is hard, grueling work and they are not young, and going through this nightmare must be awful for them.

That is a very specific, small area of the river and nowhere near his apt...don't think it was a random, "just going down the checklist" search. Someone or something led LE there. Has his family been in touch with LE about the investigation, tips, people interviewed etc? Also I would be asking...

I think he believes what he believes based on the evidence he has reviewed.
