Is there any reason why she hasn't been named publicly? I've seen two news stories in recent days about Doe cases being solved. Nothing yet on this one.

The point about the tattoos is well taken...probably the biggest discrepancy between the two women, since nothing appears to be listed for Jane Doe (and you'd think that would be recorded by law enforcement as identifiable markers).

Has there been any comparison/rule out between Babette and the Slidell County Jane Doe? Both women appear to have DNA and dental records available in their case files. I would think it shouldn’t be too difficult for law enforcement to make a comparison. Babette disappeared three years prior to...

Incredible work, as always @othram. Sounds like Donna Sue Nelton (formerly Bone Woman) wasn't listed anywhere online as missing. So without the forensics, she would've just been lost to someone's memory or forgotten in a photo album somewhere.
