FWIW, I just wanted to let you know the post you reference (post #385 on page 16) came across to me as humorous and helpful. I was a little surprised by the misread, though I understand these things can happen. Just wanted to share a different perspective.

No, they wouldn't be embarrassed. There is nothing "embarrassing" about granting immunity to someone who ends up not needing it. Nothing is lost. If Dede were granted immunity, it would be only relative to her involvement in Kyron's disappearance because... that's what they're investigating...
It seems to have been a phrase created to enable LE to label a suspect (when dealing with the media) yet avoid comprimising the judicial process that would result from use of the official designation suspect.
