Well, the writing is a bit sensational (which the Sun is known to be), but according to the article they did find a young man tied to the bed. He obviously wasn't charged with respect to that person, so that person probably consented... They are speculating as to whether or not it might have...

I posted earlier that he was from "Iran" - I think I was wrong about that, as one article says Selim came to Canada from Turkey. So I'm not sure that the person to whom you're referring...

I think I've found his Facebook account. I don't want to post it in case it is wrong, but on reviewing the photos (publicly available) there seem to be several that include one of the victims, Selim Esen.
I did not watch the service, but I did read some quotes from the adult children, and a brief news-clip. I do feel for them: it must be incredibly difficult and traumatic to lose not just one, but both parents, so suddenly and under such alarming circumstances.
At the same time, I am mystified...
