Is is possible to request that LE search the lake again? Are there private companies that would volunteer their time and effort to do so? It seems prudent IMO.

IMO a 19 yr old would tell a police officer that he was "going to hang out with friends" rather than "go home to mom and dad" to save face. It makes it seem like there were friends in Buttonwillow, but IMO it was just a phrase that came out of his mouth at the time.The whole thing is so confusing.

I just drove I-5 back from Southern California to Northern California. It raised some questions for me. First of all, Buttonwillow is pretty far from the freeway. I stopped at the rest stop there. There are vending machines for cold drinks and snacks. I wonder why BL left the freeway. Then...

I am brand new to this forum, but constantly checking on hits case. I am wondering why they only searched to a depth of 80 feet in the lake. Is that standard procedure or something?
