does the defendant have an automatic right to appeal? if so this may go on for some time.

Is it feasible that 1 personal alone could get a body into a bin without any help? Its unfortunate that the police missed the significance of bin early in the investigation. It seems that the prosecution case is mostly circumstantial - cctv pictures etc. But nothing linking him to the murder.
