OK. Just that the way the article says they intercepted him as he was boarding implied to me that they were there waiting for him. He would not likely have given his true name to a taxi dispatcher. So again IMO, it seems like they may have known it was him and were there waiting.

And what about my question above. Does the fact that the Chilean police intercepted him as he was boarding a taxi "when he went toboard a taxi that he had rented" Does this not imply that he called for a taxi, and his call was intercepted?
