Bosque Nuboso

I have hiked alone in jungle and cloud forest in Panama and Costa Rica, climbing Chirripo in Costa Rica on my own. With a local guy, years ago, we climbed Volcan Baru from the El Volcan town side using a confusing route. Friends and I climbed volcanos in Guatemala, El Salvador, Chile and snowy Mt. Rainier and Mt. Olympus in Washington State. I have trekked and camped alone in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, experiencing the extreme weather there. Together with a friend, we completed the Torres del Paine Circuit in Patagonia, Chile and trekked in areas around Mt. Fitzroy in Argentina. Now I'm older and my major adventures might be behind me but I can enjoy the exciting, beautiful and sometimes frightening memories. I am a woman.
