This happened in Germany in February, a family (including three children) nearly died after setting up a barbecue in their basement. Interestingly, it seems that paramedics here carry carbon monoxide meters as standard, so they recognised it immediately.
There was an incredibly sad case in Vietnam of two young women who died, most likely of pesticide poisoning.

There is a report on a Facebook page called Noti Tulum that a family of four has been found dead in a condo in that area, and the description fits. Facebook just decided to stop working for me, so I can't link. Not sure if that page is an official source though :(
This is my first post, although I have been keeping an eye on Erica's story for a while now. The poor child must have felt so alone - I'm so glad she has been found, and she isn't alone anymore.
