I'm starting to think that the prosecution case may be getting weaker by the day. The accused does not have to prove his innocence. Is anyone from WS attending? I went to a lot of the preliminary hearings in the Baden Clay case. Sometimes they even brought in witnesses.

In Victoria, can the accused request the trial be in Melbourne if he thinks he won't get a fair trial in Ballarat? Or does he think he has enough support in Ballarat?

Are we sure it will be tried in Ballarat? Something this big in Queensland would go to Brisbane is it was only an hour or so drive. Security would be better and more space for the onlookers

Exactly. Time is money. You stop for 15 minutes to have your lunch wherever you are. You dont waste time driving home for lunch.
