GUILTY Australia - Anthea Mari, 34, murdered in her Brisbane home, 26 Aug 2014

This is sounding even more tragic, I don't think I want to know what was going on in that house. One person murdered, possible assault of a child, other housemates and no one heard a thing????

    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

nope, i'm sure that a life sentence for murder in qld is a mandatory sentence, no ifs or buts, 15 years minimum and the defence can't come along with submissions arguing for a lower sentence, therefore they always sentence straight after a verdict comes down, it can be extended for a time longer...

The water cooler talk in my office this morning has the jury finding him guilty, no one has said the word acquittal and since there are a few capes and wigs hanging around in my office, i hold those opinions in pretty high regard I still feel sick though :(

A guilty verdict would be good :jail: But the longer this jury stays out and is undecided, the more i feel that slipping away I'm afraid

i just worry the longer they take to come back with a verdict might mean they are having difficulties agreeing on a verdict???? in a lot of instances a jury that comes back relatively quickly is an indicator of a guilty verdict
