This latest development makes me think of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" ...anyone else seen the movie? perhaps OP will outshine Jack Nicholson in this role and not get out?!
Good afternoon all.
Welcome BatGunKick...I am very impressed by your theory!
For the last few weeks I have been going over and over OP's version and so many things just don't fit.
I have come to the conclusion that both Reeva and OP were awake that night.I think they never went to sleep...
My favourite Nel-ism is when he is running circles around the witness first he puts his leg up on his chair, then he takes his glasses off and then ( the best bit ) he twirles his glasses around.
Because yesterday she was claiming that OP suffers so severely from GAD that he is certifiable. If she tries to back track and say that he was able to lead a normal life and he had a common disorder that was fairly mild then he is responsible for his actions
It seems to me that Nel is trying to make this witness stick to what she said yesterday in order for him to be able to apply again to the judge to section OP under section 78 but I might be entirely wrong.
I have to get an early night or I won't get up in time for the start of the trial tomorrow.
It certainly has been quite a day in court and I was starting to lose the plot after Woolie's evidence but today certainly woke me up.
Thanks for your welcome and goodnight everyone.
What a great day for me to join in with this conversation here but so much is going on that I hardly know where to start. I am sorry if this has been raised already but what is everyone's view on Oscar's reaction today to the suggestion by Nel that he is likely to be sectioned under the mental...
Many thanks for your welcome everyone...I am out of the house and trying to get online in a cafe and not having much success! Seems I am missing a very important part of the trial but will get online properly later and catch up on here.
