    Suspect #1: Dellen Millard *Charged* 1st Deg Murder 15 May 2013 #1

Motive is not necessary for conviction. The crown must prove that the accused did the act they are accused of, and that it was done intentionally (ie. not by accident, not while mentally incompetent, etc.) Why they did it is not a required element. Where the case is circumstantial, evidence...

At this point, it is up to the clients whether they authorize their lawyers to tell the other lawyer whether they are talking, what they are saying, etc. Police may claim to one or the other that one is talking as a way of encouraging the other to talk. That claim may or may not be true...

My assumption is that MS was ID'd through fingerprints lifted from Bosma's truck and/or the blue Yukon. His prints would be on file from his previous arrests. The timing makes sense, as the forensics on the trucks were completed in the last several days.

I've been shocked at how much his lawyer is talking. 1st time, before body found, when charge is just forcible confinement, he says 100% not guilty, client shocked, etc. Then, after body found & charge upgraded to 1st degree, he says there's more to the story, that he can't get into. Well...

Or, DM was watching his father invest the family fortune (his inheritance) into a new risky business venture, and didn't like what he was seeing.

Could be miscommunication. 2 guys came up, when asked how they got there, said another person dropped them off and would be right back. When story gets relayed, becomes 3 guys came.

Just a guess: maybe he picked up on his grandfather's story about being related to Joseph Brant, and wanted to find proof of aboriginal ancestry so that he could apply for a Status Indian card, which, I believe, would give him tax benefits (cheaper gas for all his toys), perhaps access to...

I'd agree, except murder seems like a really extreme way to get truck parts. Stealing a truck without being seen by the owner is much less risky. Plus, there are plenty of chop shops in the area, some where you can put in a request for steal-to-order parts. Add to that the fact that it appears...

Wouldn't have taken a lot of calling. Search Autotrader.ca for black Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel. Only a handful come up. Same on Kijiji. If there was a generic For Sale sign on TB's truck, that would kind of rule out the dealer trucks, so you're down to 3-4 private sales within 100km of Toronto...

No, the theory is the suspects were after a guy, but didn't know his name. They had a general description of him, and had seen his truck with a For Sale sign. They then looked online & started contacting people selling a similar truck. First guy didn't fit description, went to next on list...

In this area, if a truck is stolen, first place police will head is the reserve. Why head towards the spot that police are likely heading? Stash the truck far away till you can get rid of it. Also, the truck may have forensic evidence that you could not be sure would be destroyed in a fire...

I didn't say they drove the trailer down to Ancaster. Maybe they dropped it at the farm, maybe at the hangar.

I live in the area. Ancaster is between Etobicoke where DM lived & Waterloo where the hanger is, so the whole area would be DM's roaming grounds. Plus, it's not unusual for contractors around here to work anywhere from Toronto to Waterloo. I've had people work at my house from Toronto...

Equal possibilities - huge guy meaning don't mess with him, or huge guy meaning that's not the guy we're after, cause the guy we saw in the truck wasn't huge

Yes, it has. Yesterday the police said they thought TB was targeted. Before that, they always said it was the truck.
