I respectfully strongly disagree. I believe the Stearns Co Sheriff bungled this case from day 1 and continue to do so. Minnesotans should be OUTRAGED and demand better from their elected and appointed officials. AS RECENTLY AS LAST WEEK they couldn't even get Jacob Wetterling's birthday...

It's confusing b/c she wrote "starring out the window with his hands cupped over his eyes" ...I presume she meant "facing the window" Indeed super tough to go back and read it now...but I think necessary in order to learn what went wrong in this massive investigation

This is a super wild guess but it looks a lot like the Rassier farm setup. I can't help but (now) wonder if Danny planned to assult Jacob around the Rassier farm, drove him up there only to realize Dan was home (and their dog Smokey was barking) then thought of something similiar 25 miles...
