While I was in the State Guard, I was under the thumb of a colonel who was, in my opinion, supporting Eric Williams, promoted him, provided a State Guard lawyer to defend him in his theft trial, had State Guard officers testify for him, ordered, I believe, the Sergeant Major to provide a storage...
HBO is making a film about the Kaufman murders.

That should be interesting. I wonder if they need any writers.
Looks like NBC "48 Hours" is going to review the case

I suspect that they may have some new insight. Maybe they have some inside information.
Now they want to see if his diabetes caused him to kill. An amazing waste of money and time.

He was dismissed soon after he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the US Army. It is unclear why he was dismissed, something about he was not needed at the time. Sounds fishy to me.
I think that a large portion of the scandal in the killings can be attributed to the negligence of the Texas State Guard in assigning Williams to a supervisory position at the National Guard Armory where he had direct access to hundreds of weapons. They should have known of his psychological...
You know 55-65 guns in an arsenal is an exceptionally large cache of weapons. This smells to high heaven if it is an arsenal for just one man. I suspect that this is an armory for a whole platoon. I've always suspected that more people than just the Williams couple were involved in the murders.
I would sure like to see Williams' discharge papers from the US Army in the 1990's a few days after he was commissioned as an Army officer. They said they didn't need him. I'll bet they ran a psychological profile on him and did not want to put up with this screwball.
Well, the trial starts tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the first week. However, I suspect that preliminary proceedings will be be in progress, like several motions to dismiss, etc. I hope to attend later...
A cursory inspection of the area failed to detect the upper. It may have been tossed in the creek like the revolvers. I need to use a heavy magnet to drag the creek.
I still think that Williams was involved in more murders than he is accused of. He nearly got away with killing three of his enemies and was planning on killing two more. He was an expert marksman and armorer. He had access to hundreds of weapons at Red Bird National Guard Armory and he was a...

I think that they are still looking for the upper portion of the AR15 that Williams used in killing the DA. The FBI did another search of Williams home. I told the tip line where to look on West Malloy Bridge road where I spotted the White Vic. I saw the woman taking a stick looking thing...
Here's an interesting development, Williams' defenders are trying to ban the ballistics evidence.

I suspect that are some chain of custody issues or improper assumptions about the source of the ammunition...
