Their attitudes did nothing to help the situation. I feel very badly when I think of the toxicity that surrounded Melinda in the last couple years if her life. Her only true support was her family and friends....and the monster she married actively worked to is okay her from them. I hope he rots...

I don't think it was ANYTHING she said that night that pushed him to pull that trigger. I believe he spent weeks setting this up to look like a stalker had killed her.

Maybe they will go after his brother, now that they got a conviction on Steven Lindsey.

Why can't they do a handwriting analysis now?

Set Her Soul Free--do you know what happened to the Justice For Melinda FB page? I went to post on it about how glad I was that bail was denied, but the page seems to have disappeared.

It's horrible to think he murdered poor Melinda and may get away with it, but it's even more horrifying to me to think that he may now have access to his children. Without a conviction and if he makes bail, I'm afraid he will have custody of baby girl....and that his ex may be forced to honor...

Just be patient. The jury is just making it look good. They knew it would be bad form to say "Oh, no, really....we don't need to adjourn to the deliberation room. He's guilty as hell...lets just get this over with."

Set Her Soul Free, you've been so strong and so kind to answer questions for us, and I appreciate it. I was hoping you could answer another. I don't know who is caring for baby girl right now, and I don't know what kind of person SL's ex is......I'm wondering if the adults in these kids'...

OMG. I can't believe a reputable Vet would do such a thing to healthy dogs. Of course, this travesty pales in comparison to SP did to his wife....and to his children's lives. Be patient a little longer, Set Her Soul Free.....justice for your sweet Melinda is just hours away.

Set her Soul Free.....we know that he took the dogs to be put down, but we don't know if the Vet actually complied with his request. Do you know? Is one of those dogs the one that he was fighting with his ex over?

I don't believe she ever even talked to him....but I do think she was getting her info from one of his parents. She didn't seem at all close to him--she had never even met Melinda or the baby.
