One of the very few areas of solace in this case is that John and Amy have each other. It also sounds like they have a wonderful wider support network, especially cultivated because John is clearly incredibly admired and loved in his work.
The murderer was and is a failure, and will now live...
Not impossible, although given that he is 26 and the youngest victim is 25 I think girlfriend is more likely. Some siblings are very close in age though so could be.
Same stuff happens in every case. Whoever is close friends and involved in the search becomes suspicious to some based on very little at all. Whether it’s being too involved in the case or not involved enough, there is no satisfying some people who will drive those who’ve by all accounts done...
In the Snapchat photo of his feet he literally places his location prominently over the center of the image. Have you not seen it? It placed him squarely around Parque Rural de Teno, significantly reducing the search area to the relatively small number of properties there. The photo also shows...
That makes sense I suppose, but then it doesn't really help with regards to finding him any more than any other theory for why he ended up there. Just not sure how it all ties together.
Unless why he ended up there implies something about where he would ultimately be found?
Also, the article...
It's an attention-grabbing theory but how on earth does this work in practice? Assuming Jay stole a random man's property, how do they then follow or find him when he leaves and goes to a random location? Why would they lie in wait all night? Why would they get lucky and find him in a remote...
I think the issue with any potential sightings is that Jay in appearance is an extremely average looking young male and there's probably thousands of similar looking lads in Tenerife right now. If you look even at the club footage you can see plenty of other men of average to slim build with...
Nobody thinks the crime is minor, but it happened three years ago and it's broadly irrelevant to the process of finding him, dead or alive, in 2024. If it ever becomes relevant to this investigation then that would be the time to discuss it, IMO.
Not sure why there's always such an insistence on this when case after case after case proves that it's a total misconception. Even more so when the last case fresh in everyone's minds, with Michael Mosley, had him found several days later literally yards away from sunbeds and a cocktail bar.
I think it’s indeed farfetched to believe the two are directly related, but as for the nasty messages that his mom has been receiving, I think this very well could explain why.
I can't say I'm surprised it's gone. I'm not sure how sensible it is to post something that's such a bombshell but simultaneously provides no info and probably just fuels rampant speculation.
I hope there's been some movement tonight though in any case.
That's a fair reading, but until we get more info the facts support him being missing in a somewhat remote location with no navigation, and his phone call seeming to imply being alone. So I'm just going by what exists so far.
