I think those frames are just from when the different camera's were picking up the footage from other angles and positions around the hotel. I believe only one recorded at a time - so there is no continuous footage from any one particular camera - they rotated at regular intervals. I'm thinking...

I think calling it a satchel is what's confusing people. A satchel is usually a larger rectangular bag - like a postman's satchel or school satchel (both things from back in the day for some of us ...) The police officer was pointing out distinctive items that the women were wearing or carrying...

And the dark blue top shown above illustrates how deceptive and out of whack the CCTV footage is (with regard to dark/light coloured clothing)

That footage was included in the Australian Story episode - but I don't believe they said it was CCTV footage. I think it is just film shared by family or friends from a wedding or similar.
